The cheese bread from Pizza Hut is one of the best foods you can get from the pizza chain.

It has beautiful and fluffy bread combined with the best cheese and other ingredients.

The bread and cheese combination is already tasty and full of flavor, but you cannot attain the original taste of the recipe if you only use that. You need to be a little bit more meticulous.

Here, we will be going through the recipe and see what you should do to get that familiar flavor from the original recipe, and from there, you can make your variations to it.

What You Will Need?

The first thing you need to get for this recipe is the flour for the dough.

You can go with all-purpose flour, but you will need more ingredients to get the specific taste of the bread.

For me, the type of flour that comes closest to the taste that you get from Pizza Hut is when you use bread flour.

You will need about 22 ounces of this flour or about four cups for this recipe.

Bread flour is nothing too different from all-purpose flour, but you can hint at a slightly different flavor.

So you can choose any of these types of flour for the bread cheese.

You also need to add a tablespoon of semolina flour to get to the right consistency.

From there, you will need some additional flavors to the dough and the wet ingredients for mixing it.

To get the right balance of flavor and consistency, you need about 1/2 cup of warm water and a separate one and a half cups of water at room temperature to mix the dough in.

Get two tablespoons of olive oil and three tablespoons of melted butter.

The yeast is also crucial as you will need a certain consistency on the bread itself and get around 1 1/8 teaspoons.

Instant yeast is the best one for this recipe to get to the rising level that you need for the dough.

From there, you can get the ingredients for adding more flavors to the cheese bread.

The garlic powder is perfect for combining with the cheese later on.

You will need about half a teaspoon of garlic powder and two tablespoons of Parmesan cheese to top the cheese bread.

Mozzarella cheese is also needed for this recipe because it gives the right consistency, and it is the main flavor of the cheese bread. Get 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese for this recipe.

Step 1: Activate The Yeast

Prepare the yeast first so you can activate it and get the best rising power from it.

Put the warm water and the instant yeast together and whisk it thoroughly with a fork in a small bowl.

Whisk until the yeast starts to activate, and then leave it on the side.

You will know that the yeast is activated when the mixture starts to bubble up after whisking; this will take a few minutes.

If that does not happen, you will need to make another batch as the activation of the yeast is important.

This will help the bread get a fluffy finish and will also make the bread rise.

So if the yeast did not bubble up in the bowl, make another batch until it bubbles.

Leave it on the side and then prepare the other ingredients to cook them right away once done with them.

Step 2: Make The Dough

After a few minutes, add the water at room temperature to the yeast mixture and then combine them by stirring it.

Set it aside once again, and then prepare the other ingredients for the dough.

Get a food processor bowl and then mix the flour and the salt in it.

Pulse the food processor to slightly combine the flour and salt before adding yeast mixture, olive oil, and water.

To do this, you need to pour the other ingredients into the food processor’s tube.

Press on the processor, mix the dough into a small ball and then continue to the right consistency.

The dough should be smooth and elastic before turning the food processor off.

The dough ball should not stick on the sides of the bowl to know that it is combined properly.

Place the processed ball of dough in a bowl and then cover it with plastic wrap.

Let it rest at room temperature and rise until it doubles in size; this will take around 30 minutes.

Step 3: Shape The Dough

It might still be sticky for shaping or flattening with a rolling pin after letting the dough rise.

So sprinkle some additional flour onto the workspace and the rolling pin before shaping the dough.

If you are worried about the consistency of the dough changing, you can use non-stick spray on two baking sheets and then place them under and on top of the dough ball.

Roll into a thin rectangular shape and then let it rest again for a little bit.

You can sprinkle a little bit of semolina flour, but this is optional, and you can get rid of it if you do not want it.

While the dough is resting, prepare the melted butter by mixing it with the garlic powder.

After a few minutes, brush a thin layer of butter on top of the bread and then put the cheeses.

Step 4: Cook The Cheese Bread

Sprinkle the parmesan cheese on the bread first, and then top it with the shredded mozzarella cheese.

Make sure that you put both the cheeses on the bread evenly before cooking it.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and then bake the bread. Wait for about 20 to 25 minutes before removing the bread from the oven so that the cheese would have melted.

You can also adjust the timer if you think that the cheese bread cooks well with it.

Ensure that the color is golden brown and the cheese melted over the bread before removing it.

This cheese bread is full of buttery and cheesy flavors that go so well with pizza or marinara sauce.

You can also add some of your favorite pizza toppings on the side to eat with the bread.

Conclusion

When making the bread cheese, you need to make sure that the yeast is perfectly activated. This will give the bread the right consistency and crispiness once you cook it in the oven.

There are also some other variations, and you can do this by adding some cheese or replacing the parmesan and mozzarella cheese combination with more familiar types of cheeses.

Make sure to put the leftovers in the fridge to prolong them. You can let them stay in the fridge for up to four days, and they will still be delicious and safe to eat!
