- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Rosemary
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2 tsp Basil
- 5 cloves finely crushed garlic or 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese
Roll out the pizza dough into a circle. Ideally, cut the dough into vertical strips and then once in the middle horizontally. I did this after layering it with the butter mix and some cheese.
Place the dough on a baking sheet, and make sure to apply oil or butter to the sheet. This will help the cheese breadsticks become extra crispy and achieve a nice browning on the bottom. Greasing the baking pan also prevents the breadsticks from sticking to the bottom while baking, though this is rare, it's always better to be safe.
Mix together melted butter, rosemary, garlic, oregano, and basil. Spread this mixture evenly across the dough to add a burst of flavor to your cheese breadsticks. This blend really enhances the taste and makes them delicious. Be sure to reserve some of the mixture to brush on top of the breadsticks after they’re baked for an extra layer of flavor.
