1 Cast Iron Pan
1 Convection oven
- 1 Pizza Dough Ball(150 grams)
- 2 tbsp White Garlic Pizza Sauce
- 5-6 Medium Shrimp
- 7-8 Small pieces Tomatoes
- 7-8 thinly sliced onions
First, roll out the pizza dough. I personally don’t use a rolling pin as that can destroy the air bubbles in the dough; instead, I press the dough with my hands and fingers, making sure to push any air bubbles toward the edges. Then, I stretch the dough evenly to achieve a nice, uniform, thin pizza base.
To cook the dough, I use a cast iron skillet. Start by heating the skillet on high heat until it gets really hot. Once hot, add a little oil to create a non-stick barrier, then place the pizza dough on top. Immediately lower the heat to medium and let the dough cook for about 4 to 7 minutes. During this time, the bottom will become nice and crispy. Don’t worry if you see bubbles forming on the dough—this is completely normal. Once the base is cooked and crispy, take the pizza dough out of the skillet and set it aside. Now, spread a layer of white sauce evenly over the dough. Next, sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top. Add the half-cooked shrimp, onions, and tomatoes as toppings, and then finish with a little more cheese to help hold everything together. Place the pizza into a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toppings are perfectly cooked.
