Breville Smart Oven Pizzaiolo is one of my favorite pizza ovens and comparing it with the Ooni Pro is going to be amazing.
The price tags on both the ovens are around the same and after seeing the Breville Pizzaiolo Oven perform we thought that comparing these two ovens is going to be interesting.

The Breville Pizza Oven is more of an electric pizza oven while the Ooni Pro Pizza Oven is a multi-fueled pizza oven. The Ooni Pizza Oven is an outdoor pizza oven while hte Breville oven is an indoor oven.
So, there are a few points that make them totally different but the results from the oven are remarkably similar so let’s get started and compare the features on both the pizza ovens and see which one is better than the other.
Design and Build Quality
The design of the Breville Pizza oven is pretty simple and more like any other electric oven. The oven looks classy as it has an all silver finish and comes with three knobs that you can use to set the timer and temperature.
The Breville oven is just like most of the other ovens out there but the power on this one is just amazing. It is a nice countertop oven and you just need some space on your counter to place it and get started with cooking.
The oven is movable and by that I mean you can move it around but you would need some help while doing it. Since it is an electric pizza oven, all you need to do is plug it in, in order to get started with making pizzas.
The Ooni Pro, on the other hand, is an outdoor multi-fueled pizza oven which needs to be kept outside. The Breville one is an indoor pizza oven that would give you the same result as the Ooni Pro.
The Ooni Pro is an outdoor pizza oven and it is basically a wood-fired pizza oven but if you get the Ooni Pro gas burner attachment, then you can attach it to this pizza oven so that you can cook pizzas with a gas-fueled oven.
The Ooni Pro comes with an all stainless steel finish, along with a chimney and a door.
The chimney helps to regulate the temperature inside the oven and the door helps to keep the temperature consistent inside the oven while cooking a pizza.
The Ooni Pro is quite heavy in comparison to the Breville Pizza Oven and even though it is potable you definitely need some help moving around the oven.
Fuel used in the oven
The Ooni Pro is typically a wood-fired pizza oven where you can insert wood pellets or wood chunks at the back of the pizza oven.
You can even attach the gas burner attachment and use it as a gs fueled pizza oven. Since it is either a gas-fueled or wood-fueled oven, you need to keep it outdoors.
The Breville oven is an indoor electric pizza oven which you just need to plug it inside an outlet and you are good to go.
You can cook authentic Neopolitan pizzas inside this oven and you basically have to do nothing, just set hte timer and you are good to go.
Electric pizza ovens are perfect for indoor cooking. Even though the Breville is not an outdoor pizza oven, you still have a lot to explore with it as it is powerful like the Ooni Pro.
In order, to get a better idea of the power of the pizza oven, let’s talk about the cooking inside these ovens.
Cooking with the Ovens
The Ooni Pro pizza oven can cook a pizza within 90 seconds and you get the perfect Neapolitan pizza with leopard spots.
You can even go for the gas burner on this oven and achieve the same results. Apart from just cooking pizzas, you can cook basically anything inside the Ooni Pro Pizza Oven.
You can cook meat, steak, vegetables, bread, and various other dishes with ease inside this pizza oven. So, the Ooni Pro definitely is one of the best out there when it comes to cooking.
With the high temperatures inside the oven, all you need is an iron skillet and you can get started with your cooking.
The Breville Pizza Oven does cook a lot similar to the Pro right here. The pizzas cooked inside this oven are Neopolitan style and you can even cook the classic New York-style pizza inside them with ease.
It takes about 2 minutes to cook your Neopolitan style pizza and you get a perfect leopard spotting on the pizza as you would get with the Ooni Pro Pizza Oven.
You can cook a lot of other things inside the oven and you do not need to rotate the pizza like you do need to do with the Pro as it ensures even cooking from all sides.
Another thing that was impressive about the Breville Pizza Oven is that you do not need to check the ideal temperature of the oven or preheat the oven like the Ooni Pro. You can just insert the pizza, set the temperature and get started.
Conclusion
Considering the price point of both the pizza ovens, one can say that they cost exactly the same. Well, you might ask how since the MRP of the Ooni pro is less than the Breville oven.

But one thing that you should consider is that with the Ooni Pro you need to buy a gas burner attachment and other things separately which still cost money and it would eventually cost you as much as the Ooni Pro Pizza Oven.
So which one is a better investment?
I would say get the Breville Pizza Oven if you are looking for an indoor oven and get the Ooni pro if you want an outdoor pizza oven.

Both are equally good, however, I would prefer the Ooni Pro a bit more as I have more options with that oven but if you are looking for the best indoor pizza oven that would give you Neopolitan style pizzas then you would appreciate the Breville oven.
