Pizzacraft Pizzeria Pronto Outdoor Pizza Oven Review- PC6000

January 12, 2018 by Shrey 6 Comments

The Pizzacraft Pizzeria Pronto Outdoor Pizza Oven Review might be the first outdoor countertop pizza oven review on the site and honestly, I think we have started by reviewing one of the best outdoor pizza makers that are available in the market. This pizza maker is relatively smaller to the other pizza outdoor pizza makers and you can easily fit it almost anywhere and it is portable as well.

If you are having second thoughts on getting this amazing outdoor countertop pizza oven then do read the detailed review on it-

Advantages

1. The pizza oven is easy to set up although you might take some time figuring it out since the manual is not as helpful as it should be. But overall, the setup is not going to be difficult and you can easily understand the working of the pizza oven.

2. The oven is not as heavy as you might expect it to be, so you can easily lift it and in the case, you are planning to go on a trip or a family picnic then this oven can be pretty useful. All you need to go is take the oven along with the propane gas tank and you can get started with cooking a pizza anywhere.

3. It can run for 2 hours on a 1lb propane tank which is pretty good for a pizza oven. You can easily take it for a camping trip without feeling the need to carry more than one tank which makes things pretty easy. Apart from that, you can even control the heat inside the oven by turning the knob.

4. The flame inside the oven increases or decreases as you turn the knob hence letting you control the temperature inside the oven. The oven can reach a maximum temperature of 700 Fahrenheit and there is a moisture vent on the top of the oven that releases moisture hence avoiding sogginess of the pizza.

5. The oven takes merely 10 minutes to reach the perfect temperature and can cook a pizza in around 5 minutes. The pizza needs to be turned once in a while so that it does not get burned on any of the sides and is cooked perfectly. The oven cooks the pizza perfectly and gives it the best taste.

6. The Pizza stone is made up of cordierite and the heat diffusing hollow core of the stone makes sure that the pizza stone gets cooked perfectly. There is a reflective shield on top which is said to maintain the heat above the pizza stone so that you get the perfect combination of cooked toppings with gooey melt in your mouth cheese.

7. The oven can be used to bake pizzas up to 13 inches and you can even use it to bake a few similar items or even grill meat while on a trip. This oven has more functions than you can possibly expect and if used properly it can be used to host a Pizza party of at least 20 people. Yes, the oven cooks pizzas really fast and you can easily feed a group of people.

8. There is a temperature indicator on the top of the lid of the pizza maker and you can easily see the temperature above the pizza stone so that you know when it is the right time to insert your pizza for the perfect cooking.

Disadvantages

1. The manual could have been more explanative as you might find it difficult to understand how to assemble the pizza oven. However, with the help of YouTube videos, it was not that difficult to figure out the process.

2.The top lid could have a handle as it would be easier to remove the lid and take out the pizza but since there is no handle you need to insert your fingers in the slot given and then take out the lid.

Conclusion

Overall, the Pizzacraft Pizzeria Pronto Outdoor Pizza Oven is the perfect choice for someone who wants to have a small portable outdoor pizza oven in their backyard. It is the perfect oven for parties or family get-togethers or if you are a pizza addict like I am then you should definitely invest in getting one of these.

This pizza oven is going to save you a lot of time as the pizzas made here is easy to cook. The process of preheating the oven to the complete cooking of the pizza is not going to take you more than 15 minutes which is pretty cool. This pizza oven is perfect for your backyard and is relatively affordable in comparison to the other outdoor pizza ovens out there.

This pizzacraft pizzeria pronto outdoor pizza oven seems pretty cool. I was wondering a bit as to why it is only outdoors. However, I figured it out later when you mentioned that it uses propane gas. No wonder why it can cook a pizza within a few minutes. It must be really hot to be capable for a feat like that. The no handle part you mention is a bummer. I guess it won’t be easy getting the pizza out. By the way, does this pizza oven come with propane gas included. I really doubt it, but asking just in case. I have a lot of butane gas at home (for hot pots) so do you think those would work? Or does it run purely on propane?

Yes Win, it does get pretty hot and that is why the  Pizzacraft Pizzeria Pronto oven is going to function best outdoors. I’m not sure about butane but I would not recommend it since it clearly states propane in the manual. However, you can just send one email to the manufacturer or get them on the phone to ask them and be clear on it.

Awesome! Just what we might need for our picnics. I typically prepare my pizzas at home and wrap them in aluminum foil to keep them warm; however, they sometimes tend to be a little soggy by the time we reach our destination.

Based on the photos above, the Pizzacraft Pizzeria Pronto Outdoor Pizza Oven doesn’t look like it’s space occupying. I reckon we can easily pack it in the back of our mid-size car.

Does the pan get sticky in-between baking sessions? Maybe use floured parchment paper? Or this might be unnecessary?

    Thank you in advance.

You can use a bit of Semolina on the cooking stone in order to avoid it getting sticky. However, cleaning the stone between sessions is pretty easy as all you need is a dry cloth to wipe off the excess fallout from the pizza.

This seems like one of the best ways to get authentic pizza at home. There is a pizza store near my home that sells pizza that has been put together but hasn’t been cooked. It is extremely popular because you can have high quality frozen pizza on hand, but you don’t get quite the same experience as a pizza that has been cooked in an actual pizza oven.

This seems like a great solution to that problem. I bet that homemade pizza coming from this oven would also be divine- I just love making pizza crust with a little beer in it!
