Little Caesar’s is a pizza place that has been around for more than 50 years, so it begs the question, is the pizza from Little Caesar’s good?
Some pizza lovers say that the quality of ingredients used on the pizza is not good, while others say that it is good for the given price.
I think the pizza from Little Caesar’s is decent, but it is certainly not the best of all the different pizza places in the U.S.
What I like most about Little Caesar’s is they always serve their pizza piping hot. The pizzas are filling where I only eat a slice or two, and I am already full.
The downside is that sometimes I find the pizzas from Little Caesar’s greasy compared to other pizzas I get from, say, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, or Papa John’s.
However, this does not always happen, and there are times when pizzas from Little Caesar’s are good, especially considering the price.
So with this post, I will go into detail about the pizzas from Little Caesar’s, how the crusts, toppings, sauce, and cheese taste, and the overall quality of the pizzas.
How Is Little Caesar’s Pizza?
Little Caesar’s Pizza is great for the price. The quality of pizzas differs from one outlet to another but overall, I think their pizzas are great.
After two slices of pizza from Little Caesar’s, I often feel fuller than when I get Pizza Hut and Domino’s.
Perhaps the main reason behind this is because of the greasy toppings. It does make you full after a few slices of pizza.

Little Caesar’s sells cheap pizzas compared to other pizza places. The pizzas from Little Caesar’s are great for the price.
The main reason Little Caesar’s has a relatively lower price is that they use cheap ingredients for their pizzas.
Let’s face it even if the ingredients are cheap; the pizzas taste so good.
So if you want something hot, fast, and cheap, Little Caesar’s has the pizza for you.

Little Caesar’s loves combos and meal deals. You can select from curated pizzas, such as the large round pizzas or Detroit-style Deep-dish pizzas, or create your pizza.
There are often promos and deals where you can get pizzas and some sides like breadsticks and a 2-liter beverage.
Aside from pizzas, Little Caesar’s also has wings which, in my opinion, are pretty good. The succulent texture inside the wings is excellent, and the flavor selection is decent.
If you want desserts, I recommend trying the cookie dough brownies. Again, they are not the best, but they are pretty good for their price.
Cost
Nothing beats Little Caesar’s regarding the prices of pizza they sell. You certainly will not have to pay as much as Pizza Hut and Domino’s.
Little Caesar’s has a combo where you can get four slices of Detroit-style deep-dish pizza and 20 ounces of Pepsi for just $7.99.
Whenever I need to feed a group of friends at such short notice, and I’m kind of broke because it is the end of the month, I always choose Little Caesar’s Pizza.
You certainly cannot get pizzas from other pizza chains at the same price, and with options like deep-dish pizza, pepperoni, wings, and desserts, Little Caesar’s provides a good meal for the price they charge.
Order Online
You can order pizza from Little Caesar’s through the Little Caesar’s app or their online website. It is pretty easy.

All the items on the menu are included on the website with pictures of what you are getting, which helps a lot, especially if I want to order the meal deals that come with drinks.
You can choose to have the pizza delivered to your house or if you are near a Little Caesar’s store, there is also an option for pick-up.
Little Caesar’s does not have a minimum amount for the delivery option. I usually pay around $3 or more when I have my pizza delivered.
That is $2.99 for the delivery fee and a 10% service fee, which is a pretty good deal.
How Does Little Caesar’s Pizza Taste?
Now to the breakdown of the pizzas from Little Caesar’s and how they taste.
The Crust
Little Caesar’s has a decent pizza crust; the pizza crust looks doughy but tastes pretty good. It can be a little doughy for some, but I think it was great for what I paid.

There were little to no air pockets inside the pizza crust, but I could not eat more than two slices of it.
Shockingly there was not a lot of grease on the pizza I ordered, so that is another plus for them. The grease factor depends on which pizza outlet you order from as well.
The Sauce
The pizza sauce at Little Caesar’s is the best. The sauce is what makes their pizza taste so good. Even if the crust is so-so, the sauce tastes excellent, especially when topped with cheese.
I loved the sauce on the pizza, and I would say if you like their sauce, you would like most of their pizzas.
The Cheese
With a good amount of mozzarella cheese, Little Caesar’s pizzas have pretty good cheese on them.
The pizzas were coated pretty well with cheese, so you get a nice gooey bite on each slice of the pizza. This goes with the regular pizzas and the deep-dish pizzas.
So, the spicy sauce and cheese form the perfect combination.
The Toppings
Little Caesar’s has decent toppings on their pizzas. They have a lot of toppings to choose from, and if you want to get most of the toppings in one pizza, you can try their supreme pizza.
One thing worth noting is that I found the meat toppings, such as the pepperoni and sausage, a bit greasy. The veggies had a crunchy texture, but the meat toppings tasted great.
Overall Taste Of Little Caesar’s Pizza
I won’t say Little Caesar’s pizza is terrible because I would order from them again.
The flavors of the cheese, toppings, and sauce blend well together, so you still have a decent pizza, especially considering the price.
It’s a matter of preference; if you like fast and cheap pizza that is good for a group, Little Caesar’s has got you covered.
If you prefer fresher ingredients, crispy crust, and more authentic pizza sauce, then you might like other pizza chains with relatively expensive price ranges.
What Is Special About Little Caesar’s Pizza?
Although the ingredients used in Little Caesar’s pizza are cheap, it does not mean that they do not taste good.
The sauce is good with all the seasonings and spices, and I feel that it steals the show, especially with the blend of mozzarella and Muenster cheese is good with the toppings.

The infamous Hot-N-Ready pizza from Little Caesar’s is delicious. The cheaper price also makes Little Caesar’s unique compared to other pizza places.
Perhaps my favorite thing about Little Caesar’s pizza is how filling the pizzas are; they satisfy my cravings.
Usually, with other pizza places like Domino’s and Pizza Hut, I would need to eat more to feel full.
Is Little Caesar’s Pizza Frozen?
No, Little Caesar’s pizza is not frozen. They guarantee that their pizza dough is made fresh every day in-store.
Some people worked in Little Caesar’s pizza and shared on Quora and other platforms that everything is made fresh and nothing is frozen.
The same goes for the cheese and toppings that they use. Little Caesar’s ensures that the pizzas you get are freshly made and fresh out of the oven.
The speculation that Little Caesar uses frozen pizza might come from the doughy crust, but Little Caesar’s claims otherwise.
So you can be confident that the ingredients on your pizza are fresh if you order from Little Caesar’s.
Why Is Little Caesar’s Pizza Getting Expensive?
The pandemic is the main reason behind the rising price of Little Caesar’s pizza. With shortages in staff and ingredients, they needed to raise the costs of their pizzas.
From $5, the Hot-N-Ready pizza from Little Caesar’s is $5.99. It is not a significant jump from the original price, but you notice it with the other items on the menu.
Little Caesar’s CEO, Dave Scrivano, said they highly accepted the proposition to raise the pizza prices.
That is also considering that the price of pepperoni alone rose to 50% during the pandemic, which translates to more expensive pizzas.
Is Little Caesar’s Pizza Healthy?
While there are a lot of different pizza and crust options from Little Caesar’s, they are mostly high in calories, saturated fats, and sodium.
For instance, one slice of the 14-inch pizza from Little Caesar’s with pepperoni toppings contains 246 calories.
That is not far from other pizza chains’ pepperoni pizzas. Domino’s has 270 calories on their pepperoni pizza, while Pizza Hut has 290 calories on the same type of pizza.
So while Little Caesar’s does not have the healthiest pizza, they have a lower calorie count on their pizzas compared to Pizza Hut and Domino’s pizza.
So, Is little Caesar’s Pizza worth ordering?
If you do not mind the cheap ingredients and like the taste of their pizza, then I would suggest going for it.
It is okay to order from them occasionally, although I would not suggest you make it an everyday thing.

The pizzas do taste great, and I love their breadsticks. The breadsticks from Little Caesars are AMAZING.
Try out wings and other appetizers, too, as they are some excellent options at a great price.
Overall, I can see why there is so much hype about Little Caesar’s, and I wouldn’t mind ordering from them once in a while.
