Indoor Pizza Ovens

These pizza ovens are electric pizza ovens or stovetop pizza ovens and you are going to use them in your kitchen. Unlike the huge outdoor ovens, these are pretty small and affordable. be disappointed with the results.

These pizza ovens are perfect for your kitchen as they would not take a lot of space on your kitchen counter and you can easily store them away once you are done using it.

They do take 15-20 minutes to cook a pizza but when it is done, you will be pretty pleased with the results. So, let’s get started with a few indoor pizza oven recommendations on the list.

This pizza oven is tiny and portable and can fit almost anywhere. The G3 Ferrari Pizza Oven is easy to use and it cooks a perfect pizza within a few minutes.

If you have never owned a pizza oven then do not worry as using this oven is going to be really easy and you can do this without even reading the manual(although I do suggest that you do, just in case).

The G3 Ferrari takes about 8-10 minutes to heat up and you can easily cook a pizza within 10-15 minutes depending on the crust.

You cannot make a pizza with a thick crust as that will take a really long time otherwise this oven is perfect to make medium to thin crust pizza.

You can even use it to reheat your pizza or to cook frozen pizza without any issues. So this is a really nice portable pizza oven for your home.

The pizza oven is small enough that you can fit it on your kitchen counter and if you have really little space then you can even keep it inside the cabinets and pull it out only when you are in the mood to cook some really delicious pizzas.

The Best part about the electric pizza ovens that are as portable as this one from Giles and Posner is that you can travel along with it as well.

Again, you cannot make a pizza with a thick crust as that will take a really long time otherwise this oven is perfect to make medium to thin crust pizza.

Cons-

1. It does take some time to cook a pizza.

2. You can cook only one pizza at a time.

3. Royal Catering Pizza Oven

Now, this one is slightly different from the ones mentioned above, however, if you want to make two pizzas at a time or are looking for a really nice oven that specifically cooks pizza then you might want to consider this oven.

The Oven is really easy to use as it has three knobs which you can use in order to cook the perfect pizzas.

The temperature retention on this oven is pretty good which is one of the major reasons that the oven has made it to the list.

You can easily look pizzas with a thick base which is clearly not possible in the above two mentioned pizza ovens.

The overall build quality and everything about these ovens is pretty amazing making it a really good electric oven for home use.

Pros-

1. It is a countertop pizza oven and you can place it on your kitchen countertop. You can move it as well as it is not that heavy.

2. The pizza oven reaches the perfect temperature that is needed to cook the perfect pizza.

Honestly, if you are looking for a pizza oven that you can use to make perfect pizzas for your family then this one is the pizza oven you should go for.

3. The pizza oven is extremely portable and takes very minimum counter space.

Cons-

2. The pricing could have been slightly lower making it affordable.

4. KITGARN 3KW Double Desk Commercial Electric Pizza Oven

This pizza oven is a pretty famous style of electric pizza ovens and it can be used for commercial purposes as well.

The pizza oven is pretty similar to the Royal Catering pizza oven mentioned above but it can cook two pizzas at a time making it a good option for someone who wants a pizza oven for commercial purposes.

The pizza oven is made up of stainless steel and it has controls on it so that you can change the cooking time or set the temperature as needed.

You also have LED lights inside so you can keep an eye on how the pizza is being cooked inside.

With the outdoor pizza ovens, you pretty much have an opening so you do not need to worry about how the pizza cooks as you would be turning them around with a pizza peel every few seconds.

In this pizza oven, you are going to set a temperature for a certain time and cook the pizzas so it is a really nice feature that you can see how the pizza is cooking inside.

The oven also has good features making it an economical indoor pizza for the given price range.

Pros-

1. It is a countertop electric pizza oven and you can place anywhere in the kitchen or your restaurant.

2. The pizza oven can easily reach high temperatures which is crucial for cooking the perfect pizzas.

7. The pizza oven has a nice price/feature balance.

Cons-

1. The pizza oven is a little expensive if you consider the Ooni Koda that is available for half the price of this oven and cooks a pizza under a minute.

If you have no issues with outdoor pizza ovens then I would recommend the Ooni Koda over this pizza oven.

5. Global Gourmet Electric Tabletop Pizza Oven

This electric pizza oven is a nice way to spend time with your family cooking pizzas while having a nice chat.

The pizza oven has four openings where you would insert your pizzas and you can cook 4 pizzas simultaneously.

If you want a pizza oven to have some fun and at the same time get done with some cooking then this one fits the bill.

It is not a pizza oven that can cook Neopolitan pizzas but it is a decent pizza oven that gets the job done.

If you are just looking for a nice Christmas present for someone or if you want this at your place so that you can make pizza cooking a family time where you and your family sit down and cook with it then it is a great option.

Else, I would recommend sticking to other pizza ovens that we have recommended in the list.

Pros-

1. It is a countertop electric pizza oven and you can place anywhere you like. You can even keep it back in the box once you are done using it.

That’s all for indoor pizza ovens. Now, moving on to the outdoor pizza ovens…

1. Uuni 3 Pizza Oven

The Uuni or now the Ooni Pizza ovens are probably the best out there. They are light in weight, fuel-efficient and the least price of all the pizza ovens in the list.

The Uuni 3 Pizza Oven can cook a pizza within 1 minute which makes it super fast and efficient especially if you are trying to host a party with a couple of people.

It is a wood pellet pizza oven so the fuel can be wood pellets here which are really efficient, however, you can even use wood or coal as other ways of fueling this pizza oven.

The pizza oven is light and portable so you carry it around with you on trips as well. Overall, the Uuni 3 Pizza Oven is perfect for someone who is looking to makes pizzas inside a really nice and affordable pizza oven.

2. Uuni Pro Pizza Oven

Now, this oven might be on a little expensive side but it is more like an upgrade to the Uuni 3 Pizza Oven. A few major differences between the two pizza ovens is that the Uuni Pro is a little larger in size.

Being larger in size, you can easily fit in an iron skillet and cook other dishes or vegetables without any issues. This was not the case with the Uuni 3.

In the Uuni 3, there is just enough space to insert a pizza. Another point that you should consider that this oven is multi-fueled, so you can use it as a wood-fired pizza oven or a gas-fired pizza oven as you like.

The pizza oven has an amazing door design as well that lets you slide in your pizza and pull it out once you are done with the cooking.

It has two doors so that you can take a peek inside the pizza oven while the pizza is being cooked without removing it out.

After clearing out all the differences between the Uuni Pro and the Uuni 3 pizza oven, let’s take a closer look at all its features-

Pros-

– You can use wood, charcoal, pellets, gas as your fuel which is pretty amazing.

– The Pizza oven has good heat retention and you can easily cook a whole batch of pizzas inside this oven without any issues.

– This pizza oven is super fast. You can cook a pizza in less than a minute which means you can just cook a whole batch at once.
Uuni Pizza ovens might look small but they are amazing when it comes to cooking a pizza really quick.

– The pizza oven gives your pizzas a nice authentic taste and cooks the base perfectly.
The toppings and cheese are soft and creamy while the base is crisp which is all a pizza lover needs.

Roccbox is a pizza oven that is pretty similar to Ooni Pro, and it is a multi fueled pizza oven that can cook pizzas within a few minutes.

Roccbox pizza oven comes with a sturdy built, and you are going to love everything about this pizza oven.

The oven comes with all the accessories that you need to get started with cooking. You also get both the wood burner attachment and the gas burner attachment.

In the case of the Ooni Pro pizza oven, you need to buy the accessories separately, but that is not the case with the Roccbox Pizza Oven.

The oven has a pretty good enough cooking space; although it is less than the Ooni Pro, it is big enough for you to cook various other dishes inside the pizza oven.

The heat retention on the Roccbox Pizza Oven is pretty good; hence, you can cook multiple pizzas one after the other inside the pizza oven.

The pizza oven comes with a cover that helps you strap the oven and carry it along to any camping trips making it easy to move around with the oven.

It probably has the best accessories included inside the box as most of the pizza oven companies expect you to buy them separately.

– It heats up quick, and the box includes the Pizza Oven along with both the gas burner attachment and the wood attachment. Unlike the Ooni pro, you do not need to buy the gas burner attachment separately.

– It has an excellent price/feature balance.

Cons-

– You cannot cook more than one pizzas at a time, but the fact that you can cook pizza faster makes up for this con.

 3. Ooni Koda

Another Pizza oven from Ooni that needs a mention in the list is the Ooni Koda Pizza Oven.

Ooni Koda is a gas-fueled outdoor pizza oven that is portable and makes pizzas under a minute.

This new easy to use and portable version of a pizza oven was refreshing because, for an affordable price, you get a good quality pizza oven.

The Ooni Koda is not multi-fueled like the other pizza ovens from Ooni, but it still delivers.

Ooni Koda is a portable pizza oven as well, so you can take it along with you on trips.

It is even lighter than the Roccbox and the Ooni Pro Pizza Ovens.

The significant differences between the Ooni Koda and the Pro or Roccbox have to be the cooking space and the limitation that a single fuel can power it.

Another difference is that the Ooni Koda has a relatively lesser cooking space.

So, with the Ooni Koda, all you can do is cook pizzas and maybe a few other things but not a lot.

You cannot experiment a lot with this pizza oven. However, if you are looking for an oven that cooks amazing Neopolitan style pizzas, then you are anyway going to be impressed with the Ooni Koda Pizza Oven.

– The pizza oven gives your pizzas an excellent authentic taste and prepares the base correctly.

The toppings and cheese are soft and creamy while the base is crisp, which is all a pizza lover needs.

– It heats up quick, and you have no assembly involved in this pizza oven. If you are looking for a small compact gas fuel outdoor pizza oven, then the Ooni Koda should be your choice without a doubt.

– It has an excellent price/feature balance.

Cons-

– You do not have a lot of cooking space, so you cannot experiment with different dishes like you could with the Ooni Pro and the Roccbox Pizza Oven.

4. Maximus Pizza Oven

This Pizza Oven is a more like a traditional countertop wood-fired pizza oven and the pizzas cooked inside the oven are simply delicious.

Overall, this pizza oven is great outdoors and as a wood-fired pizza oven, you are really going to love everything about it.

5. The Maximus claims to make around 30 pizzas in an hour which is pretty good considering you are buying it for parties or trips where you want to feed a group of people.

Cons-

1. The pizza oven is going to be bulky and you might have problems initially if you are trying to move around with it.

2. You might need to clean the residues properly before you use the oven again. Using it without cleaning the insides might result in ashes on your pizza from the last time.

3. You have to be very quick when it comes to cooking the pizzas and cannot leave the oven without someone seeing how far is the pizza from being done.

5. Ardore Pizza Oven

Ardore Pizza Oven is probably one of the famous ovens out there and it has gained a lot of popularity in Europe.

I’m pretty sure if I skipped this oven from the list then there would be someone in the comments saying ” You missed Ardore, dude”.

So, here it is- Ardore Pizza Oven which is a gas-fueled pizza oven that gives you some amazing results when it comes to cooking the authentic pizzas.

The only problem with getting the oven is that there is a waiting list on the website and it is not available on Amazon, at the time of writing this post.

Maybe the availability would get better in the future. The pizza oven is really great though and you can say that it does compete with the Ooni Pro and the Roccbox Pizza Oven.

The oven has a large cooking space so you can experiment with various different dishes.

A larger cooking space means, you can cook more than one dish at the same time so that is another aspect you might want to consider.

The toppings and cheese are soft and creamy while the base is crisp, which is all a pizza lover needs.

– It heats up quick, and you have not much assembly involved in this pizza oven.

–  It comes with a larger cooking space so you can cook more than one dish at the same time inside the pizza oven.

Cons-

– It is not multi-fueled like the Ooni Pro or Roccbox.

– At the time of writing the post, the pizza oven has a waiting list and is unavailable on amazon so it is not that readily available.

6. La Hacienda Multifunction Wood Fired Oven

This is another budget pizza oven that you can use in order to cook up some really great pizzas. Now, this pizza oven might require you to now a few tips if you want to cook a perfect pizza but once you are acquainted with the oven, it works like a charm.

Guide on choosing the Right Pizza Oven

Choosing the right pizza oven for your kitchen can be a task as you have to consider a lot of aspects before you can go with the right pizza oven.

If you are a beginner and want to know what you should be looking for in a pizza oven then here is a detailed guide which. can help you out.

1. Indoor or Outdoors- The first basic question that should come up in your mind is if the pizza oven can be used indoors or outdoor.

If you want an outdoor pizza oven then we have a completely different section for it so you can choose the perfect oven for your needs.

Outdoor pizza ovens are usually gas-fueled or wood-fired pizza ovens. They can vary in weight and sizes.

Indoor Pizza ovens are usually electric pizza ovens or stovetop pizza ovens and you can easily choose one that is perfect in your kitchen.

Indoor pizza ovens are countertop pizza ovens and they are not as heavy as the outdoor pizza ovens.

2. Weight of the Pizza Oven- The weight of the pizza oven is something that you should consider before getting one.

You have some really lightweight pizza ovens and if you want something along those lines then you can go for Ooni Koda pizza ovens or Roccbox.

If you are looking for a pizza oven that just sits in a place forever then you can go for the traditional pizza ovens that are above 50 kg.

There are many options when you look at the weight of the ovens, you have really light pizza ovens and at the same time, you can get some huge heavy ones that look amazing in your backyard.

3. Wood-fired or gas-fired pizza oven?- A pizza oven can be a wood-fired pizza oven, gas-fueled or electric.

Outdoor pizza ovens are usually wood fired pizza ovens or gas-fueled pizza ovens and you have multi fueled pizza ovens that do both.

If you are someone who wants to enjoy both the types of ovens and like the wood burnt flavor in your pizzas then you can go for the multi-fuel pizza ovens.

You can also go for only gas-fueled ovens or only wood-fired pizza ovens.

Cooking in a gas-fueled pizza oven is faster in terms of preheating the oven so you might want to think about that.

Wood-fired pizza ovens can take some time to reach the optimal cooking temperature and you need to constantly keep adding wood.

If you are up for the extra work then you can go for it.

Or if you want something quick and easy then you should stick with the gas-fueled pizza oven.

4. Heat Retention- In outdoor pizza ovens, heat retention is a really important factor.

Now, you are cooking outdoors and you want the oven to maintain a constant temperature without having any sudden temperature drops due to the weather.

If there is a lot of temperature drop all of a sudden then the pizzas won’t be cooked properly and that defeats the whole purpose of having a pizza oven.

You would not face this issue with an indoor pizza oven, however, if you have selected a bad quality oven then this can happen even with the. indoor ovens.

So this is one of the important features to consider before making a purchase.

5. Pizza Oven Accessories- If you are someone who does not want to waste a lot of time buying pizza oven accessories then make sure that the pizza oven you buy comes with the necessary accessories that you need to get started with making pizzas.

Else you have to buy the accessories separately and that can be annoying for a beginner.

6. How fast are the pizzas cooked- Cooking time is important to me and I like pizza ovens that can whip out a pizza within a minute or two.

With the Ooni pizza ovens, you can cook a pizza under a minute and if you want to get an oven that does the cooking quick then go for Ooni or the Roccbox Pizza Ovens.

These two ovens are classic and you can never go wrong with them.

7. Countertop or Standing pizza oven

Depending on the space you have in the backyard you need to decide if you want to go with a countertop pizza oven or a standing pizza oven.

If you are buying a pizza oven for indoors then you can buy looking at the space that the oven would occupy.

You can even go for built-in pizza ovens or electric built-in wall pizza ovens.

I hope you found this guide helpful and you are able to choose the kind of pizza oven that you need!

If you found the post helpful do not forget to share it on social media!

So my girlfriend is a “pizza fiend”. I’m thinking about getting her a pizza oven as an extra Christmas pressie. It sounds like the Giles and Posner Bella Pizza Oven may be the ideal option as our the kitchen in our flat is fairly small, the fact itt can fit in a cupboard sounds perfect, any idea of the dimensions?

    Hi from Canada.

Thanks for this extensive post on pizza ovens. I’ll venture a guess as to what you’re having for dinner tonight. Is it going to be pizza?

Aside from that, it’s nice that you have broken the post into indoor and outdoor pizza ovens. Are there any restrictions in the UK regarding the use of wood-fired pizza ovens for apartment use. Let’s say you have a backyard or balcony in your flat, are there any local fire by-laws that restrict their use?

As for the indoor pizza ovens, does their use require more or less electricity than conventional kitchen ovens?

    More cheese please.

Is beer a good beverage to accompany an outdoor, wood-fire baked pizza?

You’ve decided what I’m having for dinner tonight.

    Thanks, Paul

Well, about the electricity, it is not a lot! It really depends on how often you use the oven as well.

What a great article!!  We have gotten into making pizza in a BBQ grill.  It tastes great but its hard to do.  Your article describing this huge variety of pizza ovens is just what we needed.  I particularly appreciated your suggestions on the various points to consider when choosing a pizza oven.  We are leaning towards a counter-top electric, but the outdoor gas model would also work for us.  Our next step is to take a look at the various ovens available in our area.  You have inspired us. Thanks for the article.

The ovens you have up here are all of some very good grades and I feel like it will be very good for me to get one of it seeing how good it works. I like the fact that you have given so much choices here on your post. Going through all the different ovens you have here, I think I will go for the second one Giles and Posner Bella Pizza Oven. I have a friend who uses a cooker from the company and she says it works pretty good so that’s why I will try it. Thank you for an in-depth review.

We cook pizzas every Christmas Eve. It is a tradition that we have had for over  a decade now. We have used all types of methods. I am really intrigued by your review of the Global Gourmet Electric Tabletop Pizza Oven. I will need to investigate and research further on this option. Do you know where I can find one? How is the pricing?

    Hello!

A great list of ovens that give the British people ways to cook tasty and attractive pizza assortments!

From the Indoor palette, I find very worth using Gilles and Posner (portability), Royal Catering and KITGARN (for temperatures) and Global Gourmet (for multiple pizzas).

Outdoor pizza ovens are welcome as well, for example in trips. The Uuni suite is quite quick at helping travellers with that! Roccbox and Maximus ovens are good for larger quantities / multiple pizzas, pizza lovers must be very satisfied. Ardore is performant in both speed and pizza multiplicity matters!

    Best regards, Peter

Hi! I love pizza. And I have been looking for a good pizza oven but up to this point I haven’t been convinced by none of the previous reviews I’ve read.

I think my best choice would be G3 Ferrari G10006 Delizia Pizza Oven. I love it is small, light weighted (even portable) and easy to use. Thanks for helping me decide.
